Dirt all over.

It is a bit difficult to see but what you are seeing on the floor in this video is my potting soil from on of the flowers. This video doesn't do it justice there is a lot more dirt than it makes it seem.

Zachary

My little Zach is a wild one. Most of you already know Zach was a early walker but I haven't gotten to blog about it till now. This little man wasn't showing any signs of crawling until about nine months but all along he has wanted to be on his feet. About nine months he decided to work on crawling but by 9 1/2 months he was walking. He had left crawling and doing pretty well at walking.

Now that he walks he is into everything and I mean that. If he should come to your house you had better hide your remotes. Pushing buttons is one of his favorite things. We have to keep things out of reach and it is a good thing that cell phones have a lock function. I have to get ofter him all day long because learned how to turn the TV and XBOX on. He also like to climb into things.
Zach's birthday is on Christmas day. So for his fist birthday party all we did was take a few minuets of our Christmas get together with my family and let him enjoy his cake. Isn't that the best part of first birthdays anyway.

Zach is 14 months old now and what joy. If you know anything about our family you will know that we love music and dance. We found this song I think called popcorn done by the Swedish Chef. If yo haven't seen it here is a link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7UmUX68KtE&feature=related Well we love to dance to this song. Here are Zach's moves.

This is Zach's tribute to St. Patrick's day. The green thing is not a hat but a toy. He thought it was pretty funny when I but it on his head then when I looked at his I have to take a picture because with the toy and his shirt he looks like a little Irish man.

Music and Dance

We love music at our house and it has become very much part of our lives. We all like to sing and dance together. We often turn up music and dance around the living room. Alex now will find all sorts of reasons to dance. He got a cartoon for his birthday and during the opening where they play the them song he always gets off the couch and dances around. It looks like he is trying to imitate some of the moves that the character is doing.

Even Zachary has a love for music. often at church when he starts to get a little fussy I can go stand next to the piano and he will calm down right away. He gets big grins on his face and likes to watch the hands moving over the keys. He also loves to play the piano himself. He also loves the toy piano.

And the best thing to do after a long day of dancing and playing is to relax. I found Alex the other day sprawled on the arm of the couch and just about burst out laughing and had to take a picture.

The New Backyard

If you have seen my backyard it has not been that inviting. It has been mostly cement and dirt. Well 4 years later and thanks to our loving family and the help of family and friends we now have a backyard we can play in and enjoy. In the first year we lived here the back was mostly cement until there was a sprinkler leak under the cement. We had to pull up a big chunk to fix the pipe well that made the back even more uninviting and really hard to maintain when it comes to the weeds. Well this last month Tony's parents were in town and decided to help us out. I could not be happier. We have had a lot of help this last month and over the past years thank you to all that have lent us a hand. Here are some pictures to see some before and after.

At least the sandbox has made the back yard fun.

Tony's Dad Ed and Sister Amy working on braking un the cement. Everyone was out there taking turns all afternoon. Thankfully the next week our HOA replaced our fences for vinal ones. With the fences down this was perfect timing to haul the the cement to the dump.

Here is Matt and Tony bringing in the sod and while they worked so hard to lay the sod Alex was working very hard at collecting potato bugs. He was holding them all in his hand so I got him a cup.

The Finished product, so when is the next BBQ?

3 Months

Zach is 3 months old now and I can't believe how big he is getting. He has been so pleased that he is starting to be able to get toys in his hands and to him mouth. I have more movies and pictures at this site. http://picasaweb.google.com/Jaskowickpics

Brothers

Now that Zach is getting older Alex is wanting to interact with him more and more. In the top pictures Alex acturaly asked if he could hold Zach. Alex will give him kisses and hugs and Zach loves to watch Alex and does a lot of smiling at him. There are times now that it is fun to have two kids. I can't wait till they are both big enough to do things like camping and hiking or some adventure.
